T-H-A-N-K-F-U-L

I have realized how bad I am at this blogging thing. I never can remember to upload or make any posts. But, a dear friend of mine encouraged me to take the word 'Thankful' and think of a word that is special for every letter. So here I go....

T-Time. In my every day work, I realize just how precious life can be. I am thankful for the time that God has blessed me on this Earth.
H- Happiness. I am thankful that I can find happiness in the little things of life.
A- Alan. I am thankful for my wonderful husband and best friend, Alan.
N- Nurses. I am thankful for all the crazies that call themselves nurses! It takes a special person to be a nurse. I am thankful that God provided me with a profession to serve others.
K- Kitchen. I am thankful for the kitchen. I have many memories in my mom's kitchen of baking cookies and cakes; making tomato juice; and sitting on the barstool talking about this really great guy I met at college (Alan) ;)
F- Football. I am thankful that God created a 'thing' that would gather families together and allow them to fellowship (tailgate) and cheer their hearts out, whatever mascot or color it would be...Go Hogs!
U- Umbrella. I am thankful for the creation of something that prevents me from melting!
L- Life. I am thankful I have a new life. "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have life more abundantly." (John 10:10)

I have more pictures to post! I still have some from Halloween. Baby Lane stayed overnight with us last night and I'll also have Thanksgiving pictures and more Razorback pictures! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Go Hogs!

A few weeks ago, Alan and I went to a Razorback game with a college friend of mine and her husband. We had awesome seats in Hog Heaven. We were spoiled! And, of course the Razorbacks won!

The weather was beatiful and we also enjoyed the fall leaves.

Red and white! My favorite colors!

More Lake Pictures

Supper break- Dad, Brian, and Marj pose while eating the burgers and brats mom and dad fixed.

Dad tried to show us his tubing skills.

What a great way to end the day at the lake!

Brian kneeboarding. Marj mastered the kneeboard as well.

I can't wait for Brian and Marj to get down here from Michigan! Me and Alan look forward to spending lots more summers at the lake with them. We're back to the lake this weekend to get one more trip in over Labor Day!

Summer = In the boat on the Lake!

2 Weekends ago we went to DeGray Lake with Brian and Marj. We had a blast. We enjoyed the warm weather, the sun and some good music. Too bad we didn't have Rock Band with us on the boat!

Summer Vacation 2008

Me and Alan at San Gervasia, the Mayan Ruins.
The pools at our resort.

Me, Alan, Carol, and Russell with the 3 1/2 foot long, 45 pound Wahoo!

Here are a few pics of our summer vacation to Cozumel, Mexico. We loved Cozumel and we really loved the all-inclusive resort we stayed at. That is definitely the way to go! We met some great friends, Carol and Russell. They were on their honeymoon. We went on an 8 hour deep-sea fishing trip with them. We had so much fun! We caught a Wahoo, boninta tuna, black-fin tuna, and barracuda! I can't wait to go deep sea fishing again!
